A new community centre.
Help make it happen; make it yours.
There is a new community centre being built soon on Hardwick rec.
In order to make it as eco-friendly and carbon-neutral as possible we have planned what we believe will be a beautiful and sustainable building that will serve Hardwick villagers well into the future.
However, we need your help and support to get the final phase of the project finished.
Every additional pound that we can raise the sustainability of our new Community Centre.
will improve the financial and environmental
We need to raise extra funds alongside the grants we are getting to make this centre a successful, self-sustaining community resource.
Can you help?
We need a fundraising group to organise village events. Would you like to join the group?
We need individuals that could lobby local businesses for donations and support.
Are you good with social media and could you help with our advertising on social media?
If you're keen but busy why not raise or donate £100 in your own time as a family?
We need YOUR 🫵🏻 help and ideas over the next few months.

What will be your legacy to Hardwick?
Villages now have large numbers of adults who are active in child care, more retired adults who now lead a longer and more active lifestyle and a demographic that has more flexibillty and home working. These residents need activity spaces/activities available during the daytime as well as evenings.
We will have a new venue suited to the range of activities that are now popular and available in other large village centres.
Bounce, Pilates, indoor curling, table tennis, charity events, parties, Zumba, a community film club, ballet, youth groups, ballroom dancing,
contemporary dance, jazzercise, judo, karate, yoga, baby yoga, art groups, choirs, exercise groups, pre-school music classes, Little City and Tumble Tots.
Smaller rooms will be available too for health visitors, physio, chiropodists and smaller meetings.
A social space with a library, cafe and seating overlooking the play area. A business place for home workers, a monthly craft fair, antique fairs or farmers markets, weddings, parties and maybe a base for a village lottery.
